Modern Standard Arabic For Communication Purposes

Start speaking in Modern Standard Arabic. The formal Arabic language in all over the Arab world. Gain confidence in speaking and understanding common phrases, and express freely through more than 20 diverse conversations.

This course consists of the necessary rules that qualify beginners to start speaking MSA.

The course provides learners with the knowledge of speaking standard Arabic correctly and accurately.

The course focuses on improving the main language skills; listening, speaking, reading, writing, and understanding by studying many conversations in different varied situations.


Generally in MSA you can go as far as you push, but this course on average takes from 25 to 40 sessions to finish. These lessons could be dialogues or grammar.

Although not required, it is highly recommended to be able to read and write Arabic before enrolling. Ask about the introductory lesson course.

The Introductory lessons course teaches alphabet, Writing tips, pronunciation and transliteration, short and long vowels, cultural notes and classroom sentences.

Lesson 1: Warming-up Conversations

Tuesdays at 3:00 PM EST

The first lesson takes place Tuesdays at 20:00 London UK time, 21:00 Berlin Germany time.

  • Two spoken conversations about introducing people. You will receive two presentations of the conversations studied include cultural info, vocabulary and phrases pronunciation, and flashcards.
  • Grammar points: Definite article, Arabic sentence types, Prepositions, and Question words.
  • Extra vocabulary to enrich your language.
